Difference Between a LTC 101 and LTC 100

The difference between a LTC 101 and a LTC 100 is how you took the Texas License to carry class. They are both a certificate of training required to get a Texas LTC. When you apply for your carry license you will have to show proof you took the course, that means you will have to provide a copy of one of these forms.
LTC 101
The LTC 101 is the certificate of training you receive when you take the online Texas License to carry class. If you have a LTC 101 you DO NOT need a LTC 100. You only need one or the other, not both.
LTC 100
The LTC 100 is the certificate or training you receive when you take the in person Texas License to carry class. If you have a LTC 100 you DO NOT need a LTC 101.
So, what form you have will just depend on how you took the class. They are both the same thing, they just show how you took the class. You will have to provide a copy of the form to DPS when you apply for you license.
These forms (certificate of training) will be issued by the instructor that teaches the class you took. If you take the online class you will be able to download the certificate instantly upon completion of the class. For those who took the class in person, the instructor will provide you with the form at the end of the class.
